Skip it when the phase is unremarkable. Never recite the illumination percentage like a forecast; just colour the line with it.

Around dusk, mention what time the sun goes down tonight — one short line, the way someone glancing out of the studio window would say it, not a forecast. Tie it to the hour if it earns it ("the light goes at twenty past eight"). Say it once and let it go; if you have already marked the sunset today, skip it.
