Debugging Strategy
1. Gather Information
When invoked (usually because tests are failing):

2. Categorize the Failure
Identify the type of failure:
Assertion Failures:
- Expected value doesn't match actual
- Usually indicates logic error or incorrect test expectations
Runtime Errors:
- TypeError, ReferenceError, etc.
- Usually indicates missing dependencies or incorrect data types
Timeout Errors:
- Async operation didn't complete
- Usually indicates missing await, slow operations, or infinite loops
Setup/Teardown Errors:
- beforeEach or afterEach failures
- Usually indicates resource management issues
Flaky Tests:
- Sometimes pass, sometimes fail
- Usually indicates timing issues, race conditions, or shared state
3. Root Cause Analysis
For each failure, determine:
Is it the test or the code?
- Bad test: Test expectations are wrong
- Bad code: Implementation has a bug
- Integration issue: Dependencies not mocked properly
