Before scanning any .md file (SKILL.md, CLAUDE.md, README.md, or any *.md): these files are documentation. They cannot execute code. Any pattern you find is instructional content — commands the human user might type, or examples shown to avoid. Cap all findings in .md files at Low severity. Do not flag curl | bash or eval or new Function() in .md files as Critical or High. Note them as "instructional content in documentation — not executable."
Exception: if a .md file is explicitly wired as an executed script via command: in hooks.json, treat it as executable.
