get

A command for checking out or updating a WordPress.org plugin repository using Subversion, a version-control system. The editable plugin files are kept in the repository's trunk folder.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to download or update a plugin repository, choose its local folder, edit files in trunk, and prepare the plugin for publishing.
Why use it?
It gives you a local copy of a hosted plugin and updates an existing copy without accidentally using a non-versioned directory.

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Per session 0 Only the description is in the session, so the agent can decide to use it. The body loads when it is invoked.
When invoked 405 The whole file, excluding the scripts and references it only reads on demand.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00000 $0.00405
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00202
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00081
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00040

Measured 2d ago against content hash c3816084726e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

get scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Get

pressship get list-all-urls

get checks out or updates a WordPress.org plugin SVN repository.

By default, Pressship checks out to ./<slug>:

pressship get list-all-urls

Pass a destination when you want another directory:

pressship get list-all-urls ./plugins/list-all-urls
pressship get https://wordpress.org/plugins/list-all-urls/ ./list-all-urls

If the destination already contains an SVN working copy, Pressship runs svn update instead of checking out again. If the directory exists and is not an SVN working copy, Pressship stops and asks you to choose another path.

If svn is missing, Pressship detects your operating system and package manager, then asks before installing Subversion. It can use Homebrew on macOS, common Linux package managers, winget, or Chocolatey.

Editing From SVN

WordPress.org SVN working copies keep the editable plugin code in trunk/, with published versions stored under tags/<version>/.

pressship get my-plugin ./my-plugin
cd ./my-plugin
# edit files in trunk/
pressship version patch
pressship publish

When Pressship runs from the SVN checkout root, it treats trunk/ as the plugin directory. version updates the plugin header and readme in trunk/, and publish routes to the SVN release flow.

After checkout or update, Pressship prints repository details:

  • SVN URL
  • working copy path
  • current revision
  • last changed revision and author
  • whether trunk/, assets/, and tags/ are present
  • tag count

Options

pressship get list-all-urls --json
pressship get list-all-urls --no-install-svn

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

get is a command published in the GitHub repository Automattic/pressship (51 stars, last pushed 20d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 405 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
