Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
daemon scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 173 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
px0 daemon
The daemon fires scheduled workflows and does the nightly housekeeping: a hand-edit checkpoint scan, a brain reindex, draining queued playlist ingests, log retention, and a weekly update check.
Implemented by px0/daemon.py.
px0 daemon install [--fallback-cron]
px0 daemon status
px0 daemon start
px0 daemon stop
px0 daemon restart
px0 daemon logs [--follow|-f]
px0 daemon serve
px0 daemon uninstall
px0 daemon install
Register the daemon with the operating system's service manager so it starts on
login — launchd on macOS, systemd --user on Linux.
--fallback-cron
Install a crontab entry instead of a service unit.
- Input: flag, no value. Default off.
- For systems without the expected service manager, or where you would rather cron owned the schedule.
px0 daemon install
px0 daemon install --fallback-cron
px0 daemon status
Whether the daemon is running, its pid, and when it last fired. No arguments.
px0 daemon start
Start the daemon in the background. On start it also catches up any fires missed earlier the same day. No arguments.
px0 daemon stop
Stop the running daemon. No arguments.
px0 daemon restart
Stop and start again — how to pick up a changed schedule or a new px0 version. No arguments.
px0 daemon logs
The daemon's own log, distinct from any individual run's.
--follow, -f
Follow the log as it is written. Flag, no value. Default off.
px0 daemon logs -f
px0 daemon serve
Run the scheduler in the foreground, logging to the terminal. No arguments.
This is what the installed service invokes. Run it directly to watch the scheduler work or to debug a schedule without installing anything.
px0 daemon uninstall
Remove whatever install put in place, and stop the daemon if it is running.
- Arguments: none.
- Removes the launchd plist or the systemd unit, unloading it first.
- Leaves px0 and the store exactly as they are: workflows keep their schedules,
nothing fires on its own until
px0 daemon installruns again. - On the cron fallback, says that px0 entries are still in your crontab rather than editing it. That file is yours.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

daemon is a command published in the GitHub repository px0-ai/px0 (241 stars, last pushed 5d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 1,161 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
