k8s

A command-line API for managing Scaleway Kapsule and Kosmos Kubernetes clusters. Kubernetes is a system for running and coordinating containerized applications.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to add inbound network rules to a Kubernetes cluster, allowing selected IP subnets or Scaleway network ranges, with a chosen region and description.
Why use it?
It lets developers manage cluster resources and network access from commands instead of relying only on a web console. The input specifically documents access-control-list operations.

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00000 $0.16087
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.08044
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.03217
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.01609

Security

Grade D, and why

k8s scanned grade D with 3 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Asks for rootmediumPrivilege escalation

A mod that escalates privileges can change anything on the machine, not only the project.

This will connect via SSH to the node, download the multicloud configuration script and run it with sudo privileges.

Reaches for credential fileshighPrivilege escalation

SSH keys, cloud credentials, git-credentials, .npmrc, /etc/shadow: reading these is how a config file becomes a credential leak.

It will merge the new kubeconfig in the file pointed by the KUBECONFIG variable. If empty it will default to $HOME/.kube/config.

Makes network callslowCapability

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

Keep in mind that your external node needs to have wget in order to download the script.

Documentation for scw k8s

This API allows you to manage Kubernetes Kapsule and Kosmos clusters.

Access Control List (ACL) management commands

Network Access Control Lists (ACLs) allow you to manage inbound network traffic by setting up ACL rules.

Add new ACLs

Add new ACL rules for a specific cluster.

Usage:

scw k8s acl add [arg=value ...]

Arguments:

Name Description Argument Specifications
cluster-id ID of the cluster whose ACLs will be added Required
acls.{index}.ip IP subnet to allow
acls.{index}.scaleway-ranges Allow access to cluster from all Scaleway ranges as defined in https://www.scaleway.com/en/docs/console/account/reference-content/scaleway-network-information/#ip-ranges-used-by-scaleway.
acls.{index}.description Description of the ACL
region Region to target. If none is passed will use default region from the config Default: fr-parOne of: fr-par, nl-ams, pl-waw, it-mil

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

k8s is a command published in the GitHub repository scaleway/scaleway-cli (996 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 16,087 tokens. A static security scan graded it D with 3 findings (asks for root, reaches for credential files, makes network calls). It is 78% identical to datawarehouse, differing in 831 lines, and is treated as a copy.
