What is Notification?

A notification hook that runs a script whenever the agent sends a notification. It records those events asynchronously in a JSON Lines file, where each line is a separate JSON record.

Use it to log notification events to notifications.jsonl for later review or troubleshooting.

It provides a record of notifications without making the agent wait for the logging step to finish.
