What is SessionStart?

A session-start hook that checks whether the Java debugging plugin’s compiled server matches the current source code. If it is missing or outdated, it builds the server before the session continues.

Use it when starting a session with the jdwp-debugging plugin. It helps verify the server build and rebuild it when the recorded source revision does not match.

A debugging session can fail or use stale code when its server was not built after source changes. This check keeps the local compiled server aligned with the plugin revision.
