What is SessionStart?

A startup hook that runs several Python checks when an AI coding session starts, resumes, is cleared, or is compacted. A hook is an automatic action tied to an event.

Use it to validate the session setup, run a memory-system health check, and detect changes that may have made the workspace inconsistent.

It catches problems with the working environment, stored memory, and configuration drift before or during a session.
