What is codebase-memory?

A read-only MCP server for remembering and exploring the structure of a codebase. It can orient an agent in a large or unfamiliar repository and answer questions about imports, dependencies, paths, and the likely impact of a change.

Use it to find who imports a module, what a component depends on, trace a path through the repository, and assess which parts may be affected by a change.

It reduces the need to understand a cold codebase by searching files manually before making structural changes.
