get-angles

A guide for finding the best path to a warm introduction into a company through people in the user's network. A warm introduction is an approach made by someone who already knows the target person or company.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to identify possible contacts, choose the strongest introduction path, draft the request, and record or hand off the introduction.
Why use it?
It helps avoid weak or embarrassing introduction requests by checking existing relationships and ranking routes that can realistically be used.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00117 $0.07193
Opus 5 $0.00059 $0.03596
Sonnet 5 $0.00023 $0.01439
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00719

Security

Grade A, and why

get-angles scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 514 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Overview

The user wants into a company they have no relationship with. Answer the question they actually have — what is my single best way in, and can you set it up? — not "here are eleven people who share an employer with someone there."

Three things make that answer useful:

  1. Check our own side first. A colleague already in conversation with the target changes who to ask, and asking a near-stranger for an intro into an account your own firm is working is the embarrassing outcome this step exists to prevent.
  2. Rank by whether the route can actually be walked, not by how senior the target is.
  3. Finish the job — draft the ask, then create the draft, log it, and hand off.

Voice

Never narrate the machinery. No tool names, no "let me call", no mention of this skill, the artifact, or the template. Progress lines belong in the user's world: "Checking who you know at Tunic Pay…", not "Calling get_company_angles".

No emoji — not in the artifact, the chat, or the drafted message. Status is carried by words and colour.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
