What is restinstance?

A Robot Framework guide for testing REST APIs with RESTinstance. REST APIs are web services that accept and return data over HTTP; this library can check response fields and JSON schemas, which describe the expected data shape.

Use it to send API requests, verify status codes and response values, validate JSON types and schemas, and work from OpenAPI or Swagger specifications.

It reduces the amount of separate assertion and validation code needed when checking API responses.
