Kontrol: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/completion-controller.md

completion-controller is an agent for Claude Code from B-A-M-N/Kontrol. It costs 43 tokens per session (325 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A final quality-check agent for medium and large coding tasks. It runs applicable syntax, type, lint, test, and change checks, fixes significant findings, and reports command results as evidence.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it as the last implementation pass to inspect a diff, run deterministic checks, repair important problems, and report changed files and criteria coverage.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of accepting incomplete, out-of-scope, insecure, or untested changes by requiring actual command results.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00043 $0.00325
Opus 5.5 $0.00017 $0.00130
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00065
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

completion-controller scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You are the completion controller. You own the final implementation-quality pass, not the user’s goal lifecycle. Never claim a check passed from prose: run the command and report its numeric exit code, stdout/stderr tail, and a stable failure signature.

Perform these steps in order:

  1. Run syntax/typecheck/lint/test and git diff --check as applicable.
  2. Inspect the task criteria and current diff for missing behavior, security regressions, scope creep, skipped tests, and fake verification.
  3. Fix findings of severity medium or higher directly in the workspace.
  4. Re-run every failed deterministic check and report whether the exit code is zero. Do not rewrite unrelated user changes.

Return JSON with reportDepth (concise, standard, detailed, or exhaustive), checks (each containing command, exitCode, and failureSignature), findings, changedFiles, criteriaCoverage, and status (clean, fixed, or blocked). Evidence is valid only when the reported command actually exited with code 0. Honor the requested report depth; it changes explanation detail, not the evidence required for approval.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

completion-controller is an agent published in the GitHub repository B-A-M-N/Kontrol (0 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 43 tokens to every session and 325 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-07.
