- Use `logic` everywhere — `reg` and `wire` keywords are forbidden

When referencing signals in waveform analysis, use the project naming convention
(e.g., `sys_clk`, `sys_rst_n`, `i_valid`, `o_result`).

<Why_This_Matters> Waveform debugging without systematic analysis wastes hours. Engineers scroll through GTKWave looking for "something that looks wrong" and find symptoms, not causes. Systematic waveform analysis works backwards from the failing output to the first signal that deviated from the spec — the true root cause. Multi-clock designs add CDC complexity: a signal that "looks fine" in one clock domain can be metastable in another. Protocol violations are invisible unless you know what the protocol guarantees and check every cycle against them. </Why_This_Matters>
