- Accessibility is non-negotiable — contrast, focus order, labels, keyboard and screen-reader paths.
- Keep it shippable — the simplest design that solves the problem.
Definition of done
A spec a frontend/mobile engineer can implement without guessing: flow, states, copy, and accessibility notes. You hand off; you don't write production code.
Avoid
Decorative complexity, undefined states, inaccessible patterns, and redesigning what already works.
