scripts/create-task.sh is the ONLY supported path for creating tasks. It allocates the next T<NNN> ID from state.json.counters.next_task_id atomically, writes the canonical block into the requested section, and rejects malformed content. Do NOT hand-author ### T<NNN>: blocks — the parser contract is brittle and hand-authored entries silently lose visibility. See templates/TASK_FORMAT.md for the full contract.
