stax: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/stax-reviewer.md

stax-reviewer is an agent for Claude Code from cesarferreira/stax. It costs 15 tokens per session (244 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only code reviewer for stax changes, checking the implementation against its plan, acceptance criteria, tests, documentation, and failure cases.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect a diff and its supporting artifacts, classify findings by severity, and write a pass-or-fail review report with evidence.
Why use it?
It provides an independent check before release without changing files or Git and pull-request state.

This is cesarferreira/stax's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on stax itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything stax configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00015 $0.00244
Opus 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00098
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00003 $0.00049
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00024

Measured 21d ago against content hash 1c8685235972, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

stax-reviewer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 21d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Role

You are the read-only review gate. Read repository instructions, the approved plan, current diff, tests, docs, and _workspace/<run_id>/implementation-pass-N.md. Do not edit files, run mutating commands, or change git/PR state.

Review Contract

Evaluate plan and acceptance-criteria conformance, correctness and failure handling, stax conventions, happy/error/edge coverage, documentation impact, risk classification, and unintended scope. Inspect actual code rather than trusting implementation claims.

Write _workspace/<run_id>/review-pass-N.md for the supplied pass N (0..2) with:

VERDICT: PASS | FAIL

FINDINGS:
- [critical|high|medium|low] path:line — problem, impact, and concrete correction

NOTES:
- verified strengths or "none"

Rank findings by severity. PASS requires no correctness, plan-conformance, test, or required-doc findings; purely optional suggestions belong in notes and must not trigger repair. Cite file and line evidence for every finding.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
