red-team-agent-orchestration: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/redteam-reporting.md

redteam-reporting is an agent for Claude Code from Contoso-State/red-team-agent-orchestration. It costs 62 tokens per session (418 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A reporting workflow that turns raw Azure security findings into a deduplicated, prioritized customer report. It produces an executive summary, a technical report, and separate write-ups for each finding.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to validate findings, combine duplicates, prioritize risks, generate reports, and map issues to CIS Azure controls and MITRE cloud techniques.
Why use it?
It removes repeated findings and organizes issues by severity and attack-path impact. It also keeps reporting tied to structured evidence and can redact identifying details when required.

Agent for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: installed under .claude/. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions subagents; names the TodoWrite tool.

This is Contoso-State/red-team-agent-orchestration's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on red-team-agent-orchestration itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00062 $0.00418
Opus 5 $0.00031 $0.00209
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00084
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00042

Measured 9d ago against content hash 10bb50c185ce, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

redteam-reporting scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Red Team — Reporting

Turn raw structured findings into deliverables a customer can act on. Reports are generated from findings data, never hand-authored.

Methodology: agents/reporting/system-prompt.md. Templates: reports/templates/. Skill (domain knowledge): .claude/skills/azure-redteam-reporting/SKILL.md. Severity model: knowledge/severity-model.md.

Steps

  1. Ingest every engagements/<session>/findings/raw/*.jsonl; validate against schemas/finding.schema.json.
  2. Deduplicate findings with the same root cause on the same resource; merge evidence.
  3. Prioritize via knowledge/severity-model.md; attack-path chains rank by end state.
  4. Render engagements/<session>/reports/: executive-summary.md, technical-report.md, per-finding files.
  5. Map findings to CIS (controls/cis-azure.yaml) and MITRE (controls/mitre-cloud.yaml).
  6. Write engagements/<session>/findings/normalized/findings.json as the deduplicated source of truth.

Safety

Read-only. Honor data_handling in engagement.yaml — redact tenant/subscription IDs, UPNs, and resource names if sanitization is required. Never include secret values or raw data samples.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

redteam-reporting is an agent published in the GitHub repository Contoso-State/red-team-agent-orchestration (6 stars, last pushed 5d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 62 tokens to every session and 418 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
