3. Pattern and Design Evaluation
- Identify the primary architecture pattern (monolith, microservices, modular monolith, event-driven, etc.)
- Evaluate whether the chosen pattern fits the problem domain and team context
- Identify secondary patterns: layering strategy, data access patterns, caching strategy, async patterns
- For each major design decision you can identify: what problem it solves, what was likely rejected, and whether the tradeoff is sound
