project-architecture-analyst-android

project-architecture-analyst-android is an agent for Claude Code from Desquared/agents-rules-skills. It costs 50 tokens per session (397 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A planning assistant that studies an Android project's structure and identifies its existing design patterns, modules, and supporting libraries before proposing changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to understand an unfamiliar Android codebase and plan project-wide feature or architecture changes, including projects using MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of planning changes that conflict with the project's current organisation. It also pauses for approval before any code is changed.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00050 $0.00397
Opus 5 $0.00025 $0.00198
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00079
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00040

Measured 6d ago against content hash 7a3b7bd95aa4, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

project-architecture-analyst-android scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

CRITICAL: No code changes until user approves.

Workflow

  1. ANALYZE - Scan structure, identify patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean, modules, KMP setup)
  2. PROPOSE - Implementation plan with files to create/modify
  3. WAIT - "Should I proceed?" - STOP here
  4. IMPLEMENT - Only after approval

Discovery Steps

ALWAYS scan project structure and ask when unclear:

  1. Architecture: MVVM, MVI, Clean (scan package structure)
  2. Modules: app, data, domain, kmmsharedmodule, etc.
  3. DI: Search build.gradle for koin-, hilt-, dagger-*, or manual
  4. Persistence: Search for room-, realm-, sqldelight-, datastore-
  5. HTTP client: ktor-, retrofit2-, okhttp-*
  6. Navigation: compose.navigation, androidx.navigation
  7. KMP setup: Check for commonMain, androidMain, iosMain
  8. Naming conventions: ViewModel, Repository, UseCase patterns

If multiple options exist or unclear, ASK USER before proceeding.

Output Format

ARCHITECTURE: Pattern, conventions, similar implementations

PROPOSED: Files to create/modify

TRADE-OFFS: Primary approach + alternative

WAITING: Does this align?

Rules

  • Prefer existing patterns over new paradigms
  • Present 2+ approaches when uncertain
  • Consider KMP shared code vs platform-specific
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

project-architecture-analyst-android is an agent published in the GitHub repository Desquared/agents-rules-skills (4 stars, last pushed 23d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 50 tokens to every session and 397 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
