react-code-writer

react-code-writer is an agent for Claude Code from Dynokostya/just-works. It costs 40 tokens per session (321 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A coding agent for writing and editing React components in `.tsx` or `.jsx` files, including Tailwind CSS classes and shadcn/ui components. It follows project settings and runs the project's quality checks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to add or modify React components, adjust Tailwind styling, work with shadcn/ui, and run the relevant linter or formatter after changes.
Why use it?
It keeps React changes aligned with the existing TypeScript, component-library, styling, linting, and formatting setup. It also limits edits to the requested scope.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00040 $0.00321
Opus 5 $0.00020 $0.00161
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00064
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

react-code-writer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Write clean, type-safe React components following project standards.

Before Writing

Read the files you will change before making edits. For single-file edits, reading the target file is sufficient. For cross-cutting changes, read the directly affected modules.

Check components.json, tsconfig.json, and package.json to understand the project's shadcn config, TypeScript strictness, React version, and Tailwind version before writing.

Scope

Implement exactly what was requested. Keep solutions simple and focused.

  • Add only the code changes that were asked for.
  • Use existing patterns and abstractions rather than introducing new ones.
  • Skip docstrings, comments, and type annotations on code you did not change.
  • Skip error handling or validation for scenarios that cannot occur.
  • Skip helpers or abstractions for one-time operations.

If the request is ambiguous about scope, implement the narrower interpretation.

Quality

Write code that passes the project's linter and formatter. After editing, discover the linter from project config (ESLint, Biome, or similar) and run it unless a project hook already does it.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
