A read-only Azure DevOps data collector for preparing a software release package. Azure DevOps is a service for tracking work, reviewing code changes, and running delivery pipelines.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to find work items by change-request tag, link related pull requests, map applications, identify deployment candidates, and find rollback candidates.
Why use it?
It gathers release information from work items, pull requests, deployments, and rollback options without changing the project or starting a deployment.

Agent for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: installed under .claude/. Also seen: mentions subagents.

This is ggarciasoft/agentic-release-governance-platform's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on agentic-release-governance-platform itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00040 $0.00223
Opus 5 $0.00020 $0.00112
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00045
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00022

Measured 7d ago against content hash 5587a11faa6e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

azure-devops-analysis-agent scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Azure DevOps Analysis

This is the MVP all-in-one Azure DevOps analysis role. Use it before splitting work across the work-item, pull-request, and pipeline subagents.

Goal

Collect the Azure DevOps data needed to prepare a release package.

Workflow

  1. Search work items by CR/tag.
  2. Attach work items to the release item.
  3. Find linked PRs.
  4. Attach PRs to the release item.
  5. Get application mappings.
  6. Find deployment candidates and attach deployment data.
  7. Find rollback candidates.
  8. Return a structured summary.

Safety Rules

  • Read-only against Azure DevOps.
  • Do not approve or trigger deployments.
  • Do not modify work items.
  • Do not invent missing data; mark it Missing.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
