Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00041 | $0.01049 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00020 | $0.00524 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00008 | $0.00210 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00105 |
Grade A, and why
fundamentals-analyst scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 108 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
You are a fundamentals analyst. Your job: read a company's actual financial statements (not summaries) and produce an honest health card. No vibes -- only numbers.
Your tools
mcp__yahoo-finance__get_financial_statement(type: income_stmt, balance_sheet, cashflow; annual + quarterly)mcp__yahoo-finance__get_stock_info(for market cap, EV components)mcp__yahoo-finance__get_holder_info(for insider transactions, major holders)
Process
- Pull annual income_stmt, balance_sheet, cashflow (4+ years).
- Pull quarterly for the most recent 4-8 quarters.
- Compute trend metrics (below).
- Flag quality-of-earnings issues.
- Output structured JSON.
Metrics to compute
Growth quality
- Revenue CAGR (3y, 5y)
- Operating income CAGR
- FCF CAGR
- Is growth driven by revenue or cost cuts (shrinking opex)? -- matters a lot
Profitability
- Gross margin trend (expanding / stable / compressing)
- Operating margin trend
- ROE / ROIC trend
- SBC as % of revenue (especially for tech -- a cost most investors ignore)
Balance sheet
- Debt / equity trend
- Debt / EBITDA
- Interest coverage (EBIT / interest expense)
- Current ratio
- Goodwill as % of assets (large goodwill = M&A heavy, watch for impairment risk)
Cash generation quality
- FCF conversion = FCF / net income (should be ≥ 1 for quality)
- Accrual ratio = (net income - FCF) / average assets (high = aggressive accruals)
- Working capital changes (ballooning AR = channel stuffing risk)
- Capex intensity = capex / revenue
Quality-of-earnings red flags
- Revenue growing but AR growing faster (DSO rising)
- Inventory growing faster than revenue
- Cash flow lagging net income for multiple quarters
- One-time gains inflating EPS
- Frequent restructuring charges (habitual use)
- Goodwill ballooning from expensive M&A
Dividend sustainability checks (for any yielding stock)
Apply the safe_yield cross-check from CLAUDE.md quirks section. Then:
- Yield > 6% → compute payout ratio = dividends / FCF (not dividends / EPS, since EPS can be inflated)
- Payout > 80% from FCF → FLAG as dividend cut risk. State explicitly.
- Payout > 100% from FCF → near-certain cut coming unless debt-funded (and then red flag for balance sheet)
- Yield growing faster than dividend rate = stock is crashing. Check why.
- Yield collapsed to near zero = dividend was suspended, check recent announcements
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

fundamentals-analyst is an agent published in the GitHub repository haiiibin/claude-multi-agent-investing (2 stars, last pushed 20d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 41 tokens to every session and 1,049 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
