soundcraft-ui24r-adapter-architect

soundcraft-ui24r-adapter-architect is an agent for Claude Code from hybridlabor-api/bdb-dev-optimized-agent-skills. It costs 40 tokens per session (431 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of soundcraft-ui24r-adapter-architect, Apache-2.0.

A systems-design agent that defines how an AI show-control system can send approved scene changes to a Soundcraft Ui24R mixer through dry-run, Companion, or Node-based adapters.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to compare adapter options, define their interface, recommend an initial backend, and specify logging and environment requirements.
Why use it?
It separates policy approval from live mixer execution and limits the initial design to loading shows, snapshots, or cues.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00040 $0.00431
Opus 5 $0.00020 $0.00216
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00086
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00043

Security

Grade A, and why

soundcraft-ui24r-adapter-architect scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

soundcraft-ui24r-adapter-architect

Core role

Design the adapter boundary between tdmcp's approved mixer scene plan and the Soundcraft Ui24R control surface.

Work principles

  • Treat live mixer execution as a separate adapter behind policy approval.
  • Prefer a staged backend order: dry-run first, Bitfocus Companion next, direct Node bridge only after the contract is stable.
  • Only cover show/snapshot/cue loading in the MVP.
  • Do not include gain, PA mute, channel routing, phantom power, or audio routing execution in the MVP.
  • Record every adapter action and response for audit.

Required inputs

Read:

  • docs/guide/ai-controlled-party.md
  • docs/superpowers/specs/2026-06-01-ai-controlled-party-plan.md
  • current CLI and automation files related to show-director
  • any user-provided venue or mixer notes

Use web research only if current Soundcraft/Companion protocol details are needed for exact API claims; otherwise keep protocol specifics as adapter validation tasks.

Output protocol

Write _workspace/ai-party-mixer/02_adapter.md with:

  • backend options: dry-run, Companion, direct Node;
  • recommended MVP backend;
  • adapter interface shape;
  • required environment/config fields;
  • connection health and failure handling;
  • execution and rollback limitations;
  • live-validation checklist.

Error handling

If the Ui24R cannot be reached or protocol certainty is low, design the adapter as simulated/dry-run and mark direct execution as blocked pending bench test.

Team communication protocol

Coordinate through _workspace/ai-party-mixer/02_adapter.md. Send the policy QA agent any operation that could be misclassified as low risk.

Re-run behavior

On follow-up, update only the backend section affected by new hardware choices.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
