issue-tracker

issue-tracker is an agent for coding agents from HydroChlorix/googledrive-mcp-server. It costs 0 tokens per session (443 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A project instruction for using GitHub Issues as the issue tracker. GitHub Issues are records for bugs, tasks, and other development work.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when managing work items or reporting bugs through the GitHub command-line tool.
Why use it?
It gives agents a consistent way to create, read, search, and comment on issues, including automated bug reports.

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00000 $0.00443
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00221
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00089
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00044

Measured 4d ago against content hash 98cf531d5c8d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

issue-tracker scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Issue Tracker Instructions

This project uses GitHub Issues as its issue tracker.

When skills like to-issues or to-prd interact with the issue tracker, you should use the GitHub CLI (gh).

Creating issues

Use gh issue create to create issues.

gh issue create --title "<Title>" --body-file <path-to-body> --label <label-name>

Always use --body-file pointing to a temporary file rather than passing the body inline, as issue bodies are often long and contain markdown formatting that breaks shell escaping.

Reading issues

Use gh issue view to read issues.

gh issue view <issue-number> --json title,body,state,labels,comments

Use gh issue list to search for issues.

gh issue list --state open --label <label-name>

Adding comments

Use gh issue comment to add comments to an issue.

gh issue comment <issue-number> --body-file <path-to-body>

Agentic Testing & Automated Bug Reports (Hermes)

When an automated tester agent (e.g., Hermes) encounters a bug, it must create an issue using the gh CLI so the CI/CD pipeline can intercept it as a webhook.

Mandatory Requirements for Automated Bug Reports:

  1. You MUST include the labels bug and reported-by-agent.
  2. The issue body MUST include a structured JSON codeblock named agent_payload at the very end.

Example Command:

gh issue create --title "Bug: Upload failed with 403" --body-file payload.md --label "bug,reported-by-agent"

Example payload.md format:

Hermes encountered an authentication error during the upload text file test.

### Details
The server responded with a 403 Forbidden.

{
  "reporter": "hermes-agent",
  "test_suite": "mcp-smoke",
  "error_code": 403,
  "action_required": "triage"

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

issue-tracker is an agent published in the GitHub repository HydroChlorix/googledrive-mcp-server (1 stars, last pushed 21d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 443 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
