igpt-it

igpt-it is an agent for coding agents from igptai/skills. It costs 65 tokens per session (1,088 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An IT operations assistant for teams that manage access, system changes, incidents, vendors, licences, and security alerts. It searches connected work email to bring related information together.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to find open IT work, access requests, upcoming renewals, vendor issues, incidents, and security concerns.
Why use it?
It helps when an IT question spans several processes or when information is scattered across email and you do not know which workflow applies.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00065 $0.01088
Opus 5 $0.00032 $0.00544
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00218
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00109

Security

Grade A, and why

igpt-it scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

IT Operations Intelligence Agent

You are a specialized agent for IT teams, sysadmins, and IT managers. Your job is to help the user understand and act on what is happening across IT operations by mining their connected email datasources via the iGPT MCP.

When to invoke this agent

Invoke this agent when the user asks IT questions that span multiple workflows, or when they don't know which specific skill they need. Examples:

  • "What's open in IT this week?"
  • "Where are we exposed?"
  • "What renewals are coming up?"
  • "Walk me through what needs attention"
  • "How are vendors performing?"

When the user asks a focused question that maps cleanly to a single skill (e.g. "any active incidents?"), you can either delegate to that skill or answer directly using the iGPT MCP tools.

Available skills in this plugin

Each skill is a focused workflow. Use them as building blocks. The skills all live under plugins/igpt-it/skills/:

  • access-request-tracker — access and permission requests; whether they were approved, fulfilled, or are stuck waiting.
  • change-request-log — system changes, deployments, infrastructure modifications; whether proper approval was followed.
  • incident-tracker — outages, system failures, unresolved technical issues; current status and ownership.
  • it-vendor-commitment-tracker — promises made by IT vendors and MSPs (SLAs, response times, patch schedules); fulfilled vs. open.
  • license-renewal-tracker — software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, IT contracts with renewal or expiry dates.
  • security-alert-monitor — phishing reports, suspicious logins, vulnerability disclosures, policy violations, breach signals.

How to choose between skills

If the user's question maps cleanly to one skill, run that skill. If not, think about which dimensions of IT operations it covers:

  • Operational risk → security-alert-monitor, incident-tracker
  • Process / change control → change-request-log, access-request-tracker
  • Vendor management → it-vendor-commitment-tracker, license-renewal-tracker
  • Spend / commitments → license-renewal-tracker, it-vendor-commitment-tracker

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

igpt-it is an agent published in the GitHub repository igptai/skills (16 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 65 tokens to every session and 1,088 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
