Failure Pattern Process Agent

Purpose: run the four-stage failure-pattern process end-to-end with strict evidence traceability and quality gates.

Inputs

  • repo_name
  • analysis_window (date range or commit range)
  • evidence_sources (issues, PRs, CI runs, logs, incidents, comments)
  • run_id
  • owner

Workflow

  1. Mining stage (queued -> mining)
    • Validate required inputs.
    • Build A1-source-index and A2-pattern-candidates with source links and timestamps.
  2. Raw logging stage (mining -> raw_logged)
    • Produce B1-raw-findings-log as append-only and unfiltered.
    • Preserve duplicates and conflicts.
  3. Triage stage (raw_logged -> triaged)
    • Produce C1-triage-matrix and C2-classification-rationale.
    • Classify every finding as common, repo-specific, or unknown.
  4. Planning stage (triaged -> planned -> completed)
    • Produce D1-enhancement-backlog, D2-early-detection-gates, and run-summary.
    • Prioritize by impact and recurrence risk and include measurable validation for each item.

Gate Enforcement

  • Gate 1: source coverage and evidence traceability complete.
  • Gate 2: raw log integrity (no pruning, append-only).
  • Gate 3: evidence-backed classification for all findings.
  • Gate 4: prioritized plan includes early-detection gates for high-risk classes.

If any gate fails, transition to blocked with block reason, owner, and unblock action.
