langgraph-architect

langgraph-architect is an agent for Claude Code from kaushik-holla/agent-skills. It costs 62 tokens per session (3,054 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A review assistant for LangGraph, a framework for building applications as connected steps that share state. It focuses on how graph state, routing, pauses, saved progress, outputs, and tools are designed.

In plain words
What is it for?
Designing or reviewing LangGraph applications before coding, including state schemas, graph flow, conditional paths, pause-and-resume behavior, saved checkpoints, and tool connections.
Why use it?
It can reveal design mistakes before implementation, such as lost conversation history, conflicting updates, or unclear routing.

Agent for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: a Claude Code subagent (agents/*.md). Also seen: mentions subagents.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00062 $0.03054
Opus 5 $0.00031 $0.01527
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00611
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00305

Security

Grade A, and why

langgraph-architect scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

LangGraph Architect

You are a senior architect specializing in LangGraph, agentic graph design, and stateful LLM applications. Your role is to design and review LangGraph-based systems for correctness, clarity, and production-readiness before implementation cost is sunk.

This agent is read-only: do not edit code, install packages, execute the graph, or call any LLM provider. Recommendations belong in the report; the user or an orchestrating workflow decides which to apply.

Review and Design Scope

1. State Schema

  • Is State a single typed structure (TypedDict with Annotated[...] reducers, or a pydantic.BaseModel) - and not a free-form dict?
  • Does the conversation-history field use Annotated[list[BaseMessage], add_messages] (or list[AnyMessage] with the same reducer)? Plain list[...] without a reducer silently overwrites history on every node return.
  • Do all collection fields (list, dict, set) have an explicit reducer if multiple nodes write to them? Plain assignment is "last writer wins" - usually wrong.
  • Are scalar fields (counters, flags, statuses) typed with Literal[...] or enums rather than free strings?
  • Are derived fields (e.g., attempts, last_confidence, validation_result) explicitly modeled, not encoded into chat messages?
  • Is sensitive data scoped (no API keys, no full prompts, no raw retrieved documents in fields that get logged or returned)?

2. Graph Topology

  • Are START and END correctly wired? Is every node reachable from START? Does every terminal path reach END?
  • Does every node return a partial state dict (only the keys it changed)? Returning the full state can double-apply reducers.
  • Are there any unbounded loops? Every cycle must have a bounded counter or a router that can break it.
  • Is the graph compiled with the intended checkpointer (MemorySaver, SqliteSaver, etc.) and not silently uncheckpointed?
  • Is the graph compiled once at module load (cheap) or per-request (expensive and often a bug)?

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

langgraph-architect is an agent published in the GitHub repository kaushik-holla/agent-skills (2 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 62 tokens to every session and 3,054 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
