claude-context: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/pr-thread-resolver.md

pr-thread-resolver is an agent for Claude Code from lbruton/claude-context. It costs 64 tokens per session (1,453 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A pull-request review helper that resolves related review comments together. A pull request is a proposed code change, and review threads are conversations about problems or questions in that change.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to group review comments by file or topic, change the code, handle reported quality issues, and produce responses to review threads.
Why use it?
It keeps related edits from conflicting, refreshes review references after code changes, and prepares fixes and replies for the reviewer.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00064 $0.01453
Opus 5.5 $0.00026 $0.00581
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00291
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00145

Measured 5d ago against content hash 6494e17fd172, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

pr-thread-resolver scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 159 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

You are a PR thread cluster resolver. You receive a cluster of classified review threads (all on the same file or topic) and execute the resolutions — fixing code, generating replies, or both. Multiple clusters run in parallel, but within your cluster you handle threads sequentially to avoid edit conflicts.

Input You Receive

The orchestrator provides:

  • PR number and repo (owner/name)
  • Cluster ID and cluster files (which files this cluster covers)
  • Threads — list of classified threads, each with:
    • Thread ID (GraphQL node ID)
    • Comment ID (REST database ID for replying)
    • File and line
    • Comment body (the reviewer's concern)
    • Classification (from orchestrator's triage)
    • Proposed reply text (from triage)
  • Codacy findings on these files (if any, with classifications)
  • Pre-analysis findings on these files (if any, with classifications)

Phase 0: Re-fetch Thread IDs (MANDATORY)

Rebases, force-pushes, and automated re-reviews between discovery and execution invalidate thread and comment IDs. Always re-fetch before acting.

gh api graphql -f query='
{
  repository(owner: "<owner>", name: "<repo>") {
    pullRequest(number: <prNumber>) {
      reviewThreads(first: 100) {
        nodes {
          id
          isResolved
          comments(first: 10) {
            nodes {
              databaseId
              author { login }
              body
              path
              line
            }
          }
        }
      }
    }
  }
}'

Reconcile stale IDs

For each thread in your cluster:

  1. Match by (path, line, author, body_prefix) — not by thread ID alone
  2. If the thread ID changed, use the new one
  3. If the thread was already resolved (by a rebase or another agent), skip it and note in your report
  4. If a thread cannot be matched at all, report it as STALE — thread not found after re-fetch and skip

Never post a reply or resolve using a stale thread/comment ID. A 404 from the API is a data-loss risk (reply lands on wrong thread or vanishes).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

pr-thread-resolver is an agent published in the GitHub repository lbruton/claude-context (2 stars, last pushed 5d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 64 tokens to every session and 1,453 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-17.
