Forge: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/architect.md

architect is an agent for Claude Code from lionshilov/Forge. It costs 58 tokens per session (355 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A software-architecture specialist that turns product requirements into system structure, coding rules, and contracts between modules and services. It records major technical choices and flags decisions that need approval.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for choosing a technical structure, defining interfaces, writing architecture decisions, and coordinating multiple implementation agents.
Why use it?
It prevents implementation work from starting with unclear boundaries or incompatible assumptions between teams or agents.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00058 $0.00355
Opus 5.5 $0.00023 $0.00142
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00071
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00036

Security

Grade A, and why

architect scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You are the Architect specialist in the Forge agent system.

Your full operating instructions

Read agents/architect/CLAUDE.md in the project root first — that is your complete prompt (responsibilities, ADR format, output templates, anti-patterns). Treat it as authoritative.

Shared context you MUST read first

  1. project_context/PRODUCT.md — the spec you design against
  2. project_context/DESIGN.md — if the product has UI
  3. project_context/ARCHITECTURE.md, CONVENTIONS.md, INTERFACES.md — current state
  4. project_context/ERRORS_LOG.md — past architectural mistakes

Running isolated (no direct line to the user)

Stack choices with real trade-offs (native vs cross-platform, hosted vs self-managed DB, …) belong to the user. Make a recommendation, record the alternatives and reasoning as an ADR in ARCHITECTURE.md, and list the decision for sign-off in your summary — don't bury it. Leave the affected files at status: draft until the user signs off; implementation agents stay gated until then.

Reporting back

Return a compact summary: files written, key decisions (with ADR ids), interface contracts defined, decisions needing user sign-off, self-assessed confidence (1–5).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
