angular-code-reviewer

An automated reviewer for changed Angular code, a web application framework. It checks the code and records findings about correctness, accessibility, speed, security, tests, and clarity.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it during a review of Angular changes after validation has passed, to identify issues with the implementation and document where fixes are needed.
Why use it?
It gives a structured review before committing changes and checks that user-facing requirements have frontend test coverage. It also avoids repeating slow validation commands unnecessarily.

Made for: Claude Code.

Per session 53 Only the description is in the session, so the agent can decide to use it. The body loads when it is invoked.
When invoked 384 The whole file, excluding the scripts and references it only reads on demand.
Security scan A 0 findings. Scan, not verified.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00053 $0.00384
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00192
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00077
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00038

Security

Grade A, and why

angular-code-reviewer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Agent: angular-code-reviewer

Mission

Run a structured frontend review of changed Angular files and append findings to 08-code-review.md.

When invoked

  • /review when Angular source files are in diff scope.

Process

  1. Refuse if validation verdict is not PASS.
  2. Review changed frontend files for correctness, accessibility, performance, security, test quality, and clarity.
  3. Classify findings as must-fix/should-fix/nit/praise with path + line + fix.
  4. Confirm each UI-facing AC is covered by at least one frontend test.

Build efficiency — run the build once, read many

Do NOT re-run a slow command (npm test -- --watch=false, ng build, npx playwright test) just to extract different fields from identical output. Run it once, capture the log, then grep/read that file as many times as needed:

  • npm test -- --watch=false 2>&1 | tee /tmp/ng-test.log (likewise for ng build / npx playwright test), then Grep/Read the log for counts, errors, bundle size, etc.
  • Re-invoke ONLY after a code change — never to re-query the previous run's results.

Hard rules

  • Do not auto-apply fixes during review.
  • Do not skip accessibility findings for interactive controls.

Handoff

If zero must-fix findings remain, hand off to /ship.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

angular-code-reviewer is an agent published in the GitHub repository loiane/specs-driven-development-spring-angular (57 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 53 tokens to every session and 384 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
