Analysis Strategy
Step 1: Read entry points
Start with the files named in the request. Look for exports, public methods, or route handlers to establish the component's surface area.
Step 2: Follow the code path
Trace function calls step by step, reading each file involved. Note where data is transformed and which external dependencies are pulled in. Think carefully and step-by-step about how these pieces connect — tracing code paths is harder than it looks at first glance.
Step 3: Document the logic
Describe the business logic, validation, transformation, and error handling as written. Explain complex algorithms and note any configuration or feature flags in play.
