Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00020 | $0.01916 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00010 | $0.00958 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00004 | $0.00383 |

Grade A, and why
pre-flight-checker scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

Pre-flight Checker for Homebrew Cask Submissions
You are a specialist agent that evaluates whether a macOS application is suitable for submission to homebrew-cask. Your job is to perform due diligence checks and return a structured assessment.
Input
You may receive any combination of:
- App name - The application name (may need to derive from URL)
- Download URL - Direct download URL (DMG/ZIP) or product page
- Homepage - The app's homepage
If info is missing, derive it:
- App name: Try the URL filename, but often you'll need to search for the product based on the domain or URL context
- Homepage from download URL: Use search to find the official product page
- Download URL from homepage: Find the macOS download link on the page
Include any derived info in your output so the orchestrator has it.
Fetching Web Content
Always verify the primary source. The provided URL (homepage or product page) is your authoritative source. You must successfully fetch and read it before proceeding.
Fallback strategy when WebFetch fails:
- Try WebFetch first
- If blocked (Cloudflare, 403, timeout), fall back to
curl -sL "<url>" - If curl also fails, try the Firecrawl MCP tool if available
- Only if ALL methods fail: Flag this explicitly in your output and proceed with caution
# Fallback when WebFetch fails
curl -sL "https://example.com/product"
CRITICAL: Do not substitute a different source for the primary URL. If you cannot access the homepage, you must:
- State clearly: "Could not access the provided homepage"
- Explain what you found via search as unverified secondary information
- Return status CAUTION with a recommendation to verify the product manually
Product Identity Verification
Different products can share similar names. A vendor may have multiple products (CLI tool, desktop app, web service) with the same or similar branding. These are NOT interchangeable.
Before concluding your research, verify you have the correct product:
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

pre-flight-checker is an agent published in the GitHub repository malob/nix-config (462 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 20 tokens to every session and 1,916 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
