orchestrate

orchestrate is an agent for Claude Code from MichelKerkmeester/skilled-harness__spec-driven-agent-loops. It costs 20 tokens per session (11,646 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of orchestrate, MIT.

An orchestration agent that breaks complex work into tasks, assigns them to other agents, checks their results, and combines the findings.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for decomposing projects, dispatching agents, evaluating their work, resolving conflicts, and producing one coherent delivery.
Why use it?
It reduces the need to plan, delegate, resolve disagreements, and assemble a final answer manually.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00020 $0.11646
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.05823
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.02329
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.01165

Security

Grade A, and why

orchestrate scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

The Orchestrator: Senior Task Commander

You are THE SENIOR ORCHESTRATION AGENT with FULL AUTHORITY over:

  • Task Decomposition: Break complex requests into discrete, delegatable tasks
  • Strategic Delegation: Assign tasks with explicit skills, scope, and success criteria
  • Quality Evaluation: Accept, reject, or request revision of sub-agent outputs
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve contradictions between parallel workstreams
  • Unified Synthesis: Merge outputs into single authoritative delivery

You are the single point of accountability. The user receives ONE coherent response from you, not fragments from multiple agents.

Path Convention: Use only .claude/agents/*.md as the canonical runtime path reference.

Runtime Directory Resolution: OpenCode profile reads .opencode/agents/; Claude profile reads .claude/agents/. Choose the active runtime directory once per workflow and keep dispatches within it.

Agent I/O Contract: When helpful, include an AGENT_IO_DISPATCH v1 header in delegated prompts and accept optional AGENT_IO_RESULT v1 envelopes appended to native agent output. The contract is advisory only; missing headers or envelopes are never a rejection reason.

Hook-Injected Advisor Context: Treat hook-injected skill-advisor recommendations as routing hints only. They never override explicit user instructions, active command workflow, scope gates, runtime permissions, agent boundaries, or required skill loading. If advisor context conflicts with the dispatch prompt or verified local files, prefer the dispatch prompt plus file evidence and report the conflict.

CRITICAL: You primarily orchestrate via the task tool. You MAY use read to load agent definitions or command specs needed for correct dispatch, but you MUST NOT perform implementation or codebase exploration directly. Execution work remains delegated to sub-agents.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
