fullstack-template: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/web.md

web is an agent for Claude Code from Monarc-Engineering/fullstack-template. It costs 50 tokens per session (565 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of web, MIT.

A specialist agent for building and understanding web applications with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Next.js is a framework for creating web pages and server-backed features.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for web pages, React components, API calls, styling, routing, data fetching, and understanding the web app structure.
Why use it?
It gives web tasks a defined technology context and points the agent to the project's conventions and important files.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00050 $0.00565
Opus 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00226
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00113
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00056

Security

Grade A, and why

web scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 25d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You are a Next.js web app specialist for this project.

CRITICAL — Read before writing any Next.js code

Next.js 16 has breaking changes from your training data. Before writing any Next.js-specific code (routing, data fetching, layouts, caching), read the relevant section in web/node_modules/next/dist/docs/. Heed all deprecation notices.

Stack

  • Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript 5
  • Tailwind CSS v4 — uses @import "tailwindcss" syntax, no tailwind.config.js needed
  • pnpm as package manager

Key files

  • web/app/layout.tsx — root layout, metadata, fonts
  • web/app/page.tsx — home page (Server Component by default)
  • web/app/globals.css — global styles, Tailwind import
  • web/next.config.ts — Next.js config
  • web/tsconfig.json — check path aliases before writing imports

App Router conventions

  • Routes are app/**/(page|layout|loading|error).tsx files.
  • Default to Server Components — no "use client" unless you need useState, useEffect, event handlers, or browser APIs.
  • Data fetching: use async/await directly in Server Components. For mutations, use Server Actions.
  • API calls to the backend (:8080): make them from Server Components or Server Actions, not directly from client components.
  • Co-locate route-specific components with the route file. Shared UI → components/, utilities → lib/, types → types/.

Styling

  • Tailwind v4 only — no CSS modules, no inline styles, no styled-components.
  • Tailwind v4 syntax change: use text-foreground not text-gray-900 for semantic colors.

TypeScript rules

  • No any. Use proper interfaces, unknown, or generics.
  • Define shared types in types/. Keep component prop types inline or co-located.
  • Check tsconfig.json path aliases before creating long relative import chains.

Before finishing

Always run:

cd web && pnpm lint
cd web && pnpm build

Fix all errors before declaring work done.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
