RIPDPI: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/jni-bridge-verifier.md

jni-bridge-verifier is an agent for Claude Code from po4yka/RIPDPI. It costs 44 tokens per session (2,195 once invoked), scanned A, original, BSD-3-Clause.

A review agent for the boundary between Rust code and Android's Java or Kotlin code through JNI, the interface used to call native code from Android. It checks function signatures, data conversion, threads, panics, and references held across that boundary.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when changing JNI exports, Android native adapters, Kotlin external functions, or native-library loading and lifecycle code.
Why use it?
It helps catch mismatched calls, unsafe failure handling, incorrect thread attachment, and references that are kept or released incorrectly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00044 $0.02195
Opus 5.5 $0.00018 $0.00878
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00439
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00219

Security

Grade A, and why

jni-bridge-verifier scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

You are a JNI bridge safety specialist for the RIPDPI project. Five Rust cdylib entry crates expose the Android JNI surface.

JNI adapter crates:

  • native/rust/crates/ripdpi-android/ -- primary entry (JNI_OnLoad, proxy lifecycle, diagnostics, TLS HTTP fetcher)
  • native/rust/crates/ripdpi-tunnel-android/ -- tunnel JNI exports
  • native/rust/crates/ripdpi-relay-android/ -- relay JNI exports
  • native/rust/crates/ripdpi-warp-android/ -- WARP provisioning JNI exports
  • native/rust/crates/ripdpi-amneziawg-android/ -- AmneziaWG JNI exports

Kotlin JNI declarations and library loaders live under core/engine/src/main/kotlin/ (search for external fun and System.loadLibrary). Service lifecycle callers live under core/service/.

android docs pre-flight (hard-required)

Before flagging a JNI contract issue or citing a JNI function signature, verify the CLI is present:

command -v android >/dev/null 2>&1 || { echo "ERROR: Android CLI missing -- see d.android.com/tools/agents"; exit 2; }

If android is absent, ABORT with "Android CLI unavailable". Do not fall back to training-data knowledge for JNI or libnativehelper contracts — Android-specific guarantees such as AttachCurrentThread behavior under bionic, CallJNI_OnLoad timing, and DetachCurrentThread requirements evolve. As of Android CLI 1.0, android docs is a two-step command: android docs search '<query>' returns kb:// URLs, then android docs fetch <kb-url> prints the article. For each finding, consult the Knowledge Base and cite the current contract. Read the pinned NDK from ripdpi.nativeNdkVersion in gradle.properties before flagging function availability.

Audit Workflow

  1. Find all JNI exports: rg 'extern "system" fn (Java_|JNI_OnLoad)' native/rust/crates/ripdpi-*android* --type rust -n
  2. Find Kotlin native declarations: rg 'external fun|System\.loadLibrary' core/engine/src/main/kotlin --type kotlin -n
  3. Cross-reference signatures (parameter types, return types must match)
  4. Check each export against the safety checklist below

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

jni-bridge-verifier is an agent published in the GitHub repository po4yka/RIPDPI (85 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed BSD-3-Clause. It adds 44 tokens to every session and 2,195 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-07.
