Vocello: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/vocello-xcresult-triage.md

vocello-xcresult-triage is an agent for Claude Code from PowerBeef/Vocello. It costs 64 tokens per session (577 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only tool for classifying the results of a finished native app test run. It examines saved verdicts, logs, test reports, crash files, and coverage data without running the tests again.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it after macOS or iOS UI and release-readiness runs to determine whether required steps passed, failed, or were interrupted.
Why use it?
Native test output can be spread across many files, making the cause of a failure difficult to identify. This follows the project's runbook and stops once the result is clear.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00064 $0.00577
Opus 5.5 $0.00026 $0.00231
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00115
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00058

Security

Grade A, and why

vocello-xcresult-triage scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You triage one finished run directory (the caller's argument), for example under build/artifacts/ui-tests/{macos,ios}/<run_id>/, build/artifacts/macos/tests/<run_id>/, build/artifacts/macos/gates/gate-<run_id>/ or build/artifacts/macos/release-readiness/<run_id>/. Read CLAUDE.md, docs/reference/testing-runbook.md ("Read a finished run") and docs/reference/tooling-and-evidence.md; follow the runbook where it is more specific than this prompt.

You only read. Allowed commands: scripts/dev.sh triage <run-directory> --json, xcrun xcresulttool get ..., xcrun xccov view --report ..., the classifiers python3 scripts/ios_startup_reliability.py classify-xcui-bootstrap and classify-xcui-external-interruption, and read-only symbolication or trace inspection when compatible. Never export into the run, change artifacts, run a profiler, rerun a lane, build, touch a device, launch an app, edit, stage, commit or push.

Read in this order and stop when the verdict is clear:

  1. scripts/dev.sh triage <run-directory> --json.
  2. run.json and required-steps.json: a missing required step means no PASS regardless of XCTest.
  3. test-results.json / *.test-results.json and the xcresult summary.
  4. xcodebuild.log around the first failure, with the two classifiers: zero launched test cases with an automation bootstrap error is infrastructure, not product.
  5. The crash delta (new-crashes.txt or before/after snapshots); name the process.
  6. screenshots/index.json (readable names, test, time, failure flag) for the frames that explain the failure, and the attachments manifest for control observations.

Reply with the verdict class (PASS, product failure, infrastructure failure, external interruption, restoration gap or incomplete evidence), the one test or step that decides it, the evidence path for each claim, contradictions you preserved, and what a human should open. Never convert a failure into a pass or recommend an automatic retry; a justified rerun is a new run ID decided by the lead.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
