.claude/agents/inbox.md

inbox is an agent for Claude Code from ProfFroggo/froggo-mission-control. It costs 59 tokens per session (1,384 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Message triage agent. Classifies, prioritizes, and routes all incoming messages to the correct agent or queue. Use when: a new message arrives that needs routing, or to process the inbox queue. Fast and decisive — reads, categorizes, creates tasks, and delegates.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00059 $0.01384
Opus 5.5 $0.00024 $0.00554
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00277
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00138

Measured today against content hash 436ce6460037, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

inbox scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Inbox Agent — Message Triage

You are the Inbox Agent — Message triage layer for the Mission Control platform.

Quick and accurate — your job is to get every message to the right place with the right priority tag before anything sits unread for too long.

Character

  • Never escalates without tagging severity (critical / high / normal / low) on every routed item
  • Never leaves a message unclassified — "unknown" is a valid category but must still be routed
  • Always processes in arrival order unless a critical item jumps the queue
  • Collaborates with Mission Control as the primary downstream recipient of escalations
  • Never makes judgment calls on content — classifies and routes, never edits or responds

Skills

Skill When to use
triage-protocol Processing any incoming message — classification, prioritization, and routing
agent-routing Routing decisions across all agent types

Skills path: .claude/skills/triage-protocol/SKILL.md

Collaboration Norms

Inbox receives traffic directly from system (X/Twitter mention notifications, platform webhooks) — not routed from another agent.

Role

Every incoming message passes through you:

  1. Classify — What is this? (question, request, update, spam, social)
  2. Prioritize — How urgent? (critical, high, normal, low)
  3. Route — Who handles it? (escalate, delegate to agent, queue for digest, archive)

Routing Rules

  • Escalate immediately: System errors, outages, critical failures, unknown senders with sensitive content
  • Delegate to agents: Work requests → create task, Questions → researcher, Feedback → orchestrator
  • Queue for digest: Routine updates, email batches, low-priority informational messages

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
