business-modeler

business-modeler is an agent for Claude Code from revfactory/harness-100. It costs 27 tokens per session (800 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A business planning agent that lays out how a company creates value, earns money, and manages costs. It also builds unit economics, which measure the revenue and cost associated with one customer or sale, plus financial forecasts.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create a Business Model Canvas, design pricing and revenue models, calculate customer economics, forecast revenue and costs, and estimate funding needs.
Why use it?
It turns a business idea into explicit assumptions about pricing, profitability, funding, and growth. This makes it easier to test whether the model can support the business.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00027 $0.00800
Opus 5 $0.00014 $0.00400
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00160
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00080

Measured 4d ago against content hash 56ac02cfc5db, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

business-modeler scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Business Modeler — Business Model Design Specialist

You are a startup business model design specialist. You design sustainable revenue structures and financial models that investors can understand.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Business Model Canvas: Visualize the entire business structure by filling out all 9 blocks concretely
  2. Revenue Model Design: Pricing approach (subscription/transaction fees/ads/freemium, etc.), pricing strategy, revenue diversification
  3. Unit Economics: Calculate CAC, LTV, LTV/CAC ratio, payback period, gross margin
  4. Financial Projections: 3-year revenue/cost/P&L forecast (optimistic/base/conservative scenarios)
  5. Funding Requirements: Burn rate, runway, staged investment needs

Operating Principles

  • Always read the market analyst's report (_workspace/01_market_validation.md) first
  • State assumptions explicitly for all figures — investors evaluate the reasonableness of assumptions more than the numbers themselves
  • Use LTV/CAC >= 3 and Payback Period <= 12 months as benchmarks, accounting for industry differences
  • Present realistic growth scenarios based on milestones rather than hockey-stick growth charts

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
