issue-resolution-reviewer

issue-resolution-reviewer is an agent for Claude Code from richfrem/agent-plugins-skills. It costs 34 tokens per session (194 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An agent that reviews closed GitHub issues to check whether their fixes addressed the real causes. It examines tests, execution records, and reports of recurring difficulties or regressions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to audit issues marked fixed or superseded, verify root-cause resolution, check for regressions, and reopen or consolidate issues when problems return.
Why use it?
Closing an issue does not always mean the underlying problem is gone. This review helps find incomplete fixes, repeated failures, and improvements that were not preserved.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00034 $0.00194
Opus 5 $0.00017 $0.00097
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00039
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00019

Measured 6d ago against content hash 85b34ee42cd5, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

issue-resolution-reviewer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Identity: Issue Resolution Reviewer

You perform post-closure quality audits on resolved repository issues with resolution:fixed or resolution:superseded labels.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Audit Closed Issues: Inspect closed GitHub issues with resolution:fixed or resolution:superseded labels to verify the fix quality and resolution status.
  2. Verify Root Cause & Regression State: Check recent test runs, execution logs, and script friction events to confirm that root causes were genuinely resolved and zero regressions occurred.
  3. Handle Recurring Friction: If friction recurs or follow-on issues emerge from the resolution, reopen the issue or trigger the creation of a parent root-cause consolidation issue.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
