issue-tracker

issue-tracker is an agent for coding agents from starwind-ui/starwind-ui-mcp. It costs 0 tokens per session (218 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of issue-tracker, MIT.

A local Markdown-based issue tracker for storing product requirements and implementation issues in the repository. Each feature has its own directory, with a requirements document and numbered issue files.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create or read feature requirements, fetch referenced tickets, track implementation issues, record status, and append comments.
Why use it?
It gives the project a consistent place and format for recording work. It also makes issue status, triage roles, and discussion history easy to find in version-controlled files.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00000 $0.00218
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00109
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00044
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00022

Security

Grade A, and why

issue-tracker scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Origin

This is a copy

86% identical to issue-tracker — 5 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.

What it actually says

Issue tracker: Local Markdown

Issues and PRDs for this repo live as markdown files in .scratch/.

Conventions

  • One feature per directory: .scratch/<feature-slug>/
  • The PRD is .scratch/<feature-slug>/PRD.md
  • Implementation issues are .scratch/<feature-slug>/issues/<NN>-<slug>.md, numbered from 01
  • Triage state is recorded as a Status: line near the top of each issue file (see triage-labels.md for the role strings)
  • Comments and conversation history append to the bottom of the file under a ## Comments heading

When a skill says "publish to the issue tracker"

Create a new file under .scratch/<feature-slug>/ (creating the directory if needed).

When a skill says "fetch the relevant ticket"

Read the file at the referenced path. The user will normally pass the path or the issue number directly.

Pull requests

External pull requests are not a triage surface for the local markdown tracker.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
