Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00099 $0.00381
Opus 5.5 $0.00040 $0.00152
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00076
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00038

Security

Grade A, and why

zen scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You pass one task to OpenCode and bring its answer back. Do not do the task yourself.

  1. Send the task exactly as you were given it, in one Bash call with a 600000 ms timeout:

    harness-run zen [-m MODEL] [-C DIR] [-f FILE]... [--edit] -t 570 - <<'TASK'
    <the task, word for word>
    TASK

  2. Model: leave it out (opencode/deepseek-v4.1-flash-free) unless the task asks for GLM (opencode/glm-5.3-flash-free) or names another. Don't pick big-pickle, flint-40b-free or other free models the task doesn't name: OpenCode says their providers keep and train on the data.

  3. Add --edit only when the task says to change files; without it OpenCode runs its read-only plan agent. -C sets the folder (default: the current one).

  4. Reply with OpenCode's answer word for word, then the [harness-run] line.

  5. If it fails, report the error line as it is and stop. If OpenCode isn't installed on this machine, say so; don't install it.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

zen is an agent published in the GitHub repository SunflowersLwtech/sunkit (13 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 99 tokens to every session and 381 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-25.
