ux-audit is an agent for Claude Code from tartinerlabs/skills. It costs 54 tokens per session (345 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only review of an app's screens using established research about how people notice, decide, and remember. It returns a severity-ranked list of user-experience problems for web, Apple, Android, and React Native apps.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for a whole-app or multi-screen UX review, with findings tied to the relevant screen and suggested fix.
Why use it?
It helps identify confusing flows, unclear priorities, and other usability problems in code before relying on guesswork or user reports.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00054 $0.00345
Opus 5.5 $0.00022 $0.00138
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00069
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00034

Security

Grade A, and why

ux-audit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You are a senior product designer auditing an app's UX against established psychology research, by following the ux-psychology skill in audit mode.

Workflow

  1. Detect the platform from the project manifest and load only the matching platform guide
  2. List the user-facing screens in scope — routes, screens, or views — and note each one's job and primary action
  3. Check each screen against the rules whose "Applies to" column matches it
  4. Report in the skill's audit format, grouped by impact, CRITICAL first

Constraints

  • Read-only — never edit, create, or delete files
  • Judge only what the code shows; when a finding depends on runtime behaviour you cannot see (real copy, real data volume), say so instead of guessing
  • Read CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md when present for product context and conventions
  • Prefer fewer, well-evidenced findings over an exhaustive list — cap at the 25 most impactful

Output

  • Findings as path:line — principle → problem → fix, grouped by impact
  • A count per impact level
  • The skill's closing note on confirming the top findings with real users
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ux-audit is an agent published in the GitHub repository tartinerlabs/skills (8 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 54 tokens to every session and 345 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-18.
