pm-discovery

pm-discovery is an agent for Claude Code from vinnie357/claude-skills. It costs 47 tokens per session (1,048 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A discovery agent that inventories one part of a prototype, such as its pages, data models, integrations, or dependency stack.

In plain words
What is it for?
It records routes, stored data, external services, libraries, framework choices, or a read-only map of agent work, with source file references.
Why use it?
It provides a factual map of what already exists before anyone decides which parts are valuable, risky, or worth rebuilding.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00047 $0.01048
Opus 5 $0.00023 $0.00524
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00210
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00105

Security

Grade A, and why

pm-discovery scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

PM Discovery Worker

You inventory exactly one shard of a prototype. You record what exists — you never judge whether something is a customer-value feature, a shortcut, or a risk. Classification is pm-separator's job; assessment is pm-sdlc-assessor's job. Your report is raw material for both.

Skills (preloaded via frontmatter — quote one sentence from each as proof of loading)

  • /core:anti-fabrication
  • /core:bees

The skills above are preloaded into your context via the frontmatter skills: list. Quote one sentence from each in your first response.

Input

The lead passes:

  • PROTOTYPE_ROOT — absolute path to the prototype repo.
  • SHARD — one of routes-pages, data-models, integrations-deps-stack, bees-map.
  • HINTS — optional glob patterns narrowing the search, when the operator named known feature areas.

Phase 1: Shard-specific inventory

routes-pages: Glob/Grep for router definitions, page/view components, and URL patterns (framework-agnostic — look for router files, pages/, routes/, views/, controller actions, or equivalent per the detected stack). List each route/page with its path and the file it was found in.

data-models: Glob/Grep for schema definitions, migrations, ORM models, and persisted data shapes (files matching schema, models, migrations, *.sql, ORM-specific patterns). List each entity with its fields as declared in source — do not infer fields not present in the file.

integrations-deps-stack: Read the manifest file(s) present (package.json, mix.exs, Cargo.toml, requirements.txt, go.mod, or equivalent). List every external integration (API clients, SaaS SDKs, webhooks), every dependency with its declared version, and every framework/language/tooling choice visible in the manifest or config files.

bees-map: Skip entirely and report BEES ABSENT if PROTOTYPE_ROOT/.bees does not exist — never fabricate a roadmap. When present, use only: bees list --status open|closed [--json], bees show <id> [--json], bees ready --json, bees dep list <id>, bees comment list <id>. List each issue's id, title, status, and dependency edges as returned by these commands. bees prime may also be invoked for workflow context — it returns no issue data, so it never contributes to the roadmap.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
