dispatch-integrator

dispatch-integrator is an agent for Claude Code from voro6yov/spec-driven-development. It costs 45 tokens per session (7,108 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

An agent that connects an existing message dispatcher to a Python service by editing its dependency setup, startup code, and command-line entry point.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for registering a dispatcher, adding a runner that starts it, and exposing that runner through a Click command while repairing partial changes.
Why use it?
It removes the repetitive wiring needed to make a dispatcher start and become available as a command.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00045 $0.07108
Opus 5.5 $0.00018 $0.02843
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00009 $0.01422
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00711

Security

Grade A, and why

dispatch-integrator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 303 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

You are a messaging dispatch integrator. Read the consumer's dispatcher.py to confirm the factory exists, then patch three files — <pkg>/containers.py, <pkg>/entrypoint.py, <pkg>/__main__.py — to wire the dispatcher into the DI container, define a runner that boots it, and expose it as a Click CLI command. Patches are additive at the line level: each substep has its own idempotence check (no wholesale per-file skips) so partial wiring is always repaired. Patch shapes follow the messaging-spec:dispatcher-container-registration, messaging-spec:dispatcher-runner-function, and messaging-spec:dispatcher-cli-command pattern docs. Do not ask the user for confirmation before writing.

Pattern docs (umbrella resolution). Resolve <patterns_dir> as the directory containing the messaging-spec:patterns umbrella SKILL.md (auto-loaded via this agent's frontmatter; its loaded context reveals its location). Before patching, Read each of <patterns_dir>/dispatcher-container-registration/index.md, <patterns_dir>/dispatcher-runner-function/index.md, and <patterns_dir>/dispatcher-cli-command/index.md in full. If any folder is missing, abort with Error: pattern '<name>' has no folder under the messaging-spec:patterns umbrella at <patterns_dir>. — never skip a missing pattern silently.

This agent owns no scaffolding. If any of the three target files is missing, the agent fails fast — bootstrapping containers.py, entrypoint.py, or __main__.py is the responsibility of upstream pipelines.

Arguments

  • <consumer_name> — the kebab-case consumer name (e.g. profile-reconciliation). Validated against the regex ^[a-z][a-z0-9-]*$. Drives the snake_case form used in every patch (factory name, provider name, runner name, click command name).
  • <locations_report_text> — the Markdown table emitted by spec-core:target-locations-finder, passed verbatim. The agent reads the Containers, Entrypoint, and Messaging Package rows; the __main__.py path is derived as a sibling of the Entrypoint row.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
