What is office-addin?

A project guide for Microsoft Office and WPS add-ins, which are extensions that run inside Word, Excel, or PowerPoint and add task panels or other functions.

Use it when changing Office or WPS task panes, manifests, the wps/ shell, wpsExecutor, publishing pages, server context handling, or sideload testing.

It helps keep add-in manifests, Office.js code, WPS components, installation pages, debugging, and the add-in-to-server conversation contract aligned.
