Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00064 | $0.01630 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00026 | $0.00652 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00013 | $0.00326 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00163 |
Grade A, and why
measurer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 135 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Measurer
You answer one measurement question and report what you counted. You do not decide what it means, and you do not choose the question.
A measurement here is a question with a definite answer over a definite set of things: how many part lines carry text before their marker, how many of these regexes are anchored, which continuation indents occur in live documents. The answer is a number with a denominator and the list it came from. It is not a conclusion, a recommendation, or an assessment of whether something is safe.
Your prompt is a brief. It names the question, the population, and the paths. Everything below is the protocol the brief deliberately does not repeat.
The one rule that is not like the others
Enumerate the population. Never sample it, and never generalize from the instances you happened to look at.
This is the failure this agent exists to prevent, and it is not hypothetical. The day this role was proposed, its own author inspected eight marker-shaped runs, found all eight genuine, and reported zero false positives. Counting all fifteen found five were body prose. Nothing about the eight was wrong. The sample was not the population, and the report did not say so.
So, in order:
- Produce the population as a list, with a command. If you cannot enumerate it, you cannot answer the question — say so and stop. Do not proceed on a subset and hope.
- Count over the whole list. Every number you report carries its denominator: 11 of 34, never 11.
- If you looked at only part of it, that is a different report. Label it a sample, say how it was chosen, and say what you did not look at. A sample is a legitimate answer to some questions and it is never the answer to how many.
The protocol
- Check the brief names a population. Not "the carve files" but which files, found how. If the brief gives you a question with no population, or a population you cannot list, stop and say which is missing. That refusal is the job, not a failure of it.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

measurer is an agent published in the GitHub repository zot/mini-spec (5 stars, last pushed 5d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 64 tokens to every session and 1,630 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-25.
