wire-check

wire-check is a command for Claude Code from 0xUXDesign/ai-codebase-boilerplate. It costs 11 tokens per session (149 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A pre-commit checklist for checking whether a code change is complete and connected throughout a project. It runs type checks, linting, unused-code checks, and reviews changed files.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to run project quality checks, inspect new exports and files, list TODO/FIXME/HACK comments, and report the change size.
Why use it?
It catches common problems before code is committed, such as type errors, unused files, missing imports, and unresolved TODO markers.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00011 $0.00149
Opus 5 $0.00005 $0.00075
Sonnet 5 $0.00002 $0.00030
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00015

Measured 4d ago against content hash e9962cfa877e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

wire-check scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Run these checks and report results:

  1. pnpm run typecheck — zero errors
  2. pnpm run lint — zero errors
  3. pnpm run knip — report any NEW unused exports/files/dependencies
  4. Check for unused imports in changed files
  5. Check that every new export is imported somewhere
  6. Check that every new file is imported by at least one other file
  7. List all TODO/FIXME/HACK comments in changed files
  8. Report net LOC change: git diff --stat

Present results as PASS/FAIL for each check. Do not commit if any FAIL.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
