A workflow for producing a Vedic, or Jyotish, natal-chart reading from a person's birth details. It gathers the date, time, place, gender, and question, calculates the chart, and interprets planetary and house indicators.

Use it for complete Vedic astrology birth-chart readings covering the ascendant, planetary strength and condition, Jaimini indicators, houses, and other listed chart data.

It provides a defined sequence for converting a birthplace into coordinates and time-zone data, generating the chart, and organizing the reading. This reduces omissions when handling the many chart factors involved.

When the user wants a complete Vedic (Jyotish) natal chart reading, execute these steps:

Gather Birth Details: Ask for DOB (DD/MM/YYYY), Time of Birth (HH:MM), Place of Birth (for lat/lon/timezone), Gender, and their specific question.
Geocode Place: Convert birth city to lat/lon/timezone. Key references:

Fetch Chart Data: Call cast_vedic_chart(detail="full") with birth parameters — this reading uses Shadbala and Jaimini keys absent from the compact default.
Read Key Indicators:
- panchang: tithi, vara, nakshatra, yoga, karana
- lagna.sign, lagna.nakshatra — core personality framework
- shadbala.percentage for each planet (>100% = exceptionally strong, <80% = weak)
- shadbala.ishta_kashta_phala — auspicious vs difficult potential
