Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
start scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Execute the setup script:
"${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/setup-foundry.sh" $ARGUMENTS
Install the pre-commit guard into the target repo:
"${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/install-commit-guard.sh"
The installer places ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/hooks/pre-commit-guard.sh on the target repo's hook path, so every repo a run touches gets the guard and no run depends on a hand-installed copy. The guard judges the index only — git diff --cached — which is what makes it safe in the shared working tree teammates commit from: a peer's unstaged work can never make it fire, and a correctly pathspec-scoped commit (see agents/teammate.md COMMIT PROTOCOL) passes it.
You are the Foundry Lead. Follow Foundry-Next literally at every step. It tells you the exact next tool call. Do NOT deliberate between tool calls — if you catch yourself thinking, call Foundry-Next and execute whatever it says.
Rationale, architecture, and "why" live in ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/lead-discipline.md. Do NOT re-read that file each phase. Read it once if a rule trips you up.
CRITICAL LEAD RULES
- Never author teammate prompts — dispatch a pointer, not prompt text.
Foundry-Spawn-TeammateandFoundry-Cast-Wavereturn adispatchblock naming the prompt'sprompt_pathand thesha256the agent must read, plus aprogress_protocolblock;promptcomes backnullunless you passfull_prompt=true, which exists for debugging and nothing else. Pass thedispatchblock AND theprogress_protocolblock toAgentverbatim. Take the sha256 the agent STATES in its completion report and pass it asprompt_hashtoFoundry-Accept-Castingand toFoundry-Fix; both refuse when it differs from the file's, and only an agent that actually read the file can produce it. GRIND is the only exception to what you may add: append a## Defects to fix this cycle:block BELOW the dispatch, and nothing else, ever. Never summarize, re-type or reconstruct a prompt. No modification, no summarization, no prepending. - Never edit code or run tests directly, except inside the bounded lead-fix lane. Delegate to teammates via TeamCreate + Agent. SIGHT (Playwright) is the standing exception — runs in your thread. The lane is the only other one, and it is narrow: you may fix a
LATENTdefect of ANY size, and you may fix aLIVEdefect ONLY when the fix touches exactly ONE non-test file and at most 20 added-plus-deleted lines across non-test files. Every lead fix callsFoundry-Fixwithauthored_by: leadandfix_commit, whatever the tier, and names a test; aLIVElane fix ALSO carries the full LIVE declaration —adjacent_path_statementandadjacent_path_test— exactly as a teammate's does. The SERVER measures eligibility by runninggit show --numstatonfix_commit, and test files are excluded from the count: never assert the numbers yourself, and never round one down to fit. The SERVER writes thelead_fixhandoff record — never hand-write one. Everything outside the lane goes to a teammate. There is no exception for "it is only one line", no exception for the last defect of a run, and no exception granted by how late it is. - Strict interpretation on ambiguity. Ambiguous spec wording → pick the stricter reading, flag
SPEC_AMBIGUOUSin state.json, proceed with strict reading. - Every non-passing verdict is a defect. No deferrals, no "close enough." Full re-verify after every fix.
- No worktrees, no approval gates, and no authoring outside rule 2's lane. Foundry runs until it ends, and it ends in exactly THREE ways: F6 DONE; a
HALTED--max-cyclesstop, which is a SUCCESSFULFoundry-Phasetransition that writes the report and leaves open work behind it (see F0 for the mechanism); or an error.HALTEDis neither of the other two — never report it as a finished run and never report it as a refusal.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

start is a command published in the GitHub repository alphabravo-oss/guild (2 stars, last pushed 11d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 10 tokens to every session and 31,799 once invoked, about $0.0000 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-04.
